How do I add social share buttons on email

Social Share buttons is an add on, which enables you to share the information across multiple social media sites. Adding social share buttons on your email, it  serve to promote your business/services on social media sites. By this approach improves user visits from social media sites to your website.

Prerequisites
1) You have logged in to your LeadSquared account.
2) You must have created an account with AddThis


Procedure

Navigate to Marketing -> Email campaign -> Select & open the email campaign

Email campOn the email editor -> Click on the Source button.

Click on the link, to download the Html code of the Social Share buttons.

Open the downloaded document and copy, paste the Html code of the social share buttons at the desired position in the Html view of your email.

Please note. Before adding html code in the email, need to modify the Html code as mentioned below.

  1. Replace this text [Your Addthis Profile ID] with your AddThis Profile ID. You can get your profile id by navigating to AddThis->Accounts settings.
  2. Replace this text [Place the URL of the webpage to be shared] with your web page / landing page url

On adding the social share buttons in the email body, send test email to your email id to check the behaviour of the social share buttons.

Add recipients & click Next button to proceed towards step-5 of email campaign to send email.
