Portals+ Update – March

Revamped Domain Mapping

To simplify domain configuration before publishing a portal, we have enhanced the setup process. Users can now host portals in either a custom domain or the default LSQ domain with greater flexibility and ease.

Benefits:

  • Improved CNAME Visibility–Displays details like “Time Remaining” (countdown in hours/minutes), “CNAME Issued Date,” and “Time Until Domain Expiry” in both UTC and local time.
  • Easier Domain Reset–Admins can restart or delete a custom domain setup at any step to regenerate the CNAME configuration.
  • Seamless Domain Reuse–Previously used domains can now be reassigned, even if linked to archived portals or custom apps.
  • Flexible Domain Switching–Users can switch between an LSQ domain and a custom domain to test features like smart links before making the portal live.

OTP Message Customization for Portal Widgets

You can now customize OTP messages for Email and Phone directly from the UI when using Widgets. You can also test different OTP messages separately for Test and Live environments.

This enhancement ensures consistent messaging across channels, and provides better control over OTP customization without backend dependencies.
