Platform Updates – SalesCloud.2025.3

Gen AI for Email Campaigns

You can now generate subject lines and email content for both one-to-one emails and emails to lists using LeadSquared’s GenAI Feature. This enhancement simplifies email creation. Additionally, hourly limits have been introduced for better usage control. For more information, see Guidelines for using Gen AI for emails.

Note: This feature is not available by default. Reach out to support@leadsquared.com to enable it.

Automation – Select and Share Specific Fields through LAPP

Previously, all fields from an entity and its related entities (Activity, Opportunity) were passed to the LAPP. Now, the LAPP card on Automation lets you select specific fields to pass. To enable this, contact support@leadsquared.com.

Benefits: This allows developers to leverage reduced payload sizes for improved efficiency and better control over shared data.

Auto-Create Lead with Default Object Type for Call Logs

For customers using object types, incoming calls from unknown numbers will now automatically create a new lead with the default object type.

Benefits: Ensures seamless lead capture and call logging without manual intervention.

Telephony Enhancements

The Telephony_Owner column in Lead and Opportunity Grids now displays the Owner Name instead of the Owner ID, enhancing readability and usability for agents.

Bug Fixes

Core Platform

  • Fixed an issue where importing an Opportunity using Auto ID was failing when the CSV contained 100,000 records.
  • Fixed an issue where non-existing Auto IDs in Opportunity imports led to unintended Lead creation, disrupting the Auto-Increment Column in Prospect_Base.
  • Fixed an issue where the Activity History on the Opportunity Details page was populated with data from other opportunities when imported using Auto ID.
  • Fixed an issue where Sales users (Opportunity owners) without Sales Group Manager rights encountered an error when performing actions on an Opportunity where the associated Lead was not owned or shared.
  • Fixed an issue where auto check-in was not triggered at the time of login.
  • Fixed an issue where the dependent dropdown displayed an error (“child option already exists”) when the same child option was assigned to different parents.
  • Fixed missing API logs in production for multiple APIs.
  • Fixed an issue where the Opportunity deduplication rule failed when the selected matching criteria field was mapped to a different field.

Marketing

  • Fixed the issue of emails not being sent if the text “data:” was present in the email body.
  • Fixed the issue of email attachments not being delivered if the filename contained a “+” symbol

Forms & Processes

  • [Marvin and NextGen] Fixed an issue where a 1-hour offset was incorrectly added to recurring tasks when the user’s time zone differed from the system time zone during editing.
  • [Platform] Resolved an issue that caused multiple duplicate activities to be posted upon form submission.
  • [Marvin and NextGen] Fixed an issue where the default task owner value did not appear in the Marvin/NextGen form renderer.
  • [Marvin and NextGen] Addressed an issue where opportunity field values and label field values were missing in the form renderer’s preview special field and the downloaded PDF.

Automation

  • Fixed the issue where dropdown values containing special characters failed when used as criteria in the Distribute Opportunity card.

Telephony

  • Previously, the Call Log failed with a duplication error when creating a lead for an incoming call, especially if the lead was simultaneously created via the Agent Popup or another integration like UDS. Now, instead of throwing an error, the system logs a call activity if the lead already exists, ensuring seamless call tracking.
