Integrate AskLaila with LeadSquared

1. Feature Overview

This connector enables you to integrate your AskLaila account with LeadSquared. You’ll be able to view all the leads generated from AskLaila in LeadSquared. You can then utilize LeadSquared functionalities, such as marketing and sales automation on these leads. To know more, refer to LeadSquared Universal Leads App.

 

2. Prerequisites

  • You must be the Administrator of your LeadSquared account.
  • You must have an active account with AskLaila.
  • The Universal Leads app is a paid feature. To activate it for your account, please write to support@leadsquared.com, or speak to your customer success executive.

 

3. Process

Once the Universal Leads app is installed, you can install and configure the AskLaila connector.

3.1 Installation

  1. From the LeadSquared main menu, navigate to Apps>Universal Leads.
  2. You will find the AskLaila connector on this page.
  3. Click Install.

3.2 Configuration

Once you select and install a connector, the Configuration page will open. This page will help you configure the connector settings, which is required to push data to LeadSquared –

Connector Instance NameProvide a relevant name for the connector instance.
Lead Capture Search By CriteriaDepending on how your AskLaila account has been set up, you can get lead details by searching for leads using either the email address or phone number.
User to Notify on FailureSelect a user who will receive the failure message, in case there is an error in fetching the leads. You must select a user from the list of users on your LeadSquared account.

Once you have entered the details, click Next.

 

3.3 Map Schemas

After the connector is configured, you will have to map the lead fields with your AskLaila account. This will push data from AskLaila to the default and custom fields in LeadSquared.

  • Name, Email and Phone are mandatory fields, and they are selected by default. You must select the relevant lead fields from the dropdown.
  • You can also select other lead fields that are available. Click the99Acres checkbox on the left of Vendor Fields. To create your lead field, refer to How to Create Custom Lead Fields.
  • Once you are done, click Finish.

4. Webhooks

Every time a lead gets created on AskLaila, the lead details get pushed automatically to LeadSquared. This action happens through a custom URL that LeadSquared generates for each connector instance. To automate lead capture, you must configure this URL in your AskLaila account as a webhook on a lead create event. This will ensure that when a lead is created, the lead details are pushed to LeadSquared through this webhook. To access this URL –

  1. Navigate to Apps>Universal Leads, and click Show My Configured Vendors.
  2. Under Ask Laila, against Connection Information, click View.
  3. Click the URL. This will automatically copy it to your clipboard.
  4. Configure this URL on your AskLaila account as a webhook. To know how to do this, please get in touch with your customer care executive from AskLaila.

Note: Each custom URL is appended with a unique security token. If you believe that there is a security breach in your lead capture process, such as when you’re getting junk or spam leads, you can generate a new URL. To do this –

  1. Click the MagicBricks icon on the AskLaila Connector Connection Information popup.
  2. This will generate a new URL with the regenerated token code.
  3. Copy the new URL and re-configure the webhook in your AskLaila account.

5. Access Logs

You can view the data that has been captured from AskLaila. To do this –

  1. Navigate to Apps>Universal Leads, and click Show My Configured Vendors.
  2. Click the Lead Marketplace icon that is present on the right side of the page.
  3. Enter the beginning and end dates for the period for which you want the logs.
  4. Under the Filter Logs By dropdown, you can search by Success Logs and Failure Logs.
  5. Once you have entered the filters, click Fetch Logs.
  6. You can view the list of logs.

6. Edit Settings

You can edit or delete an instance that you created. To do this –

  • Navigate to Apps>Universal Leads, and click Show My Configured Vendors.
  • Click the  icon that is present on the right side of the page, to edit the instance.
  • You can change the status of the instance from Active to Inactive, or vice versa, by toggling the 99Acres slider. This will temporarily pause lead capture, but will retain all the configurations made up until that point.
  • To delete an instance, click the icon present on the right side of the page. This will stop capturing all the lead data, and permanently delete all the configurations made up until that point.
