Make Calls and Send SMS Using the Mobile App

1. Feature Overview

Make outbound calls and send SMS to leads directly from the LeadSquared Mobile App. Select pre-existing SMS templates to be used or write your own message.

Note: 

  • Outbound calls from the mobile app requires an active mobile connection.
  • To initiate calls from the web app, refer to Make Calls on Your Phone Using the Web Platform.
  • From iOS devices, you can make and receive calls and SMS, but call and SMS tracking (in the lead’s activity history) and call recording is not supported.

 

2. Prerequisite

  • You must install the latest version of the LeadSquared mobile app
  • You must be logged into the LeadSquared mobile app.

 

3. Make Outbound Calls

On the LeadSquared mobile app, you can make calls using these methods –

3.1 Through Swipe Action

  1. Tap Leads.
  2. Once you can view the Leads page, swipe right on the relevant lead name card.
  3. Select Call.

3.2 On Lead Details Page

  • On the mobile app –
    1. Tap Leads.
    2. Tap on a name card to view the Lead Details page.
    3. Tap Contact and select Call.

  • Alternatively –
    1. Tap Leads.
    2. Tap on a name card to view the Lead Details page.
    3. On the bottom of the screen, tap more icon.
    4. Tap Make a Call.

Note: You can also make calls from these pages –

  • Smart Views.
  • Accounts.
  • Opportunities.
  • Activity Details.
  • Task Details.
  • Leads Near Me.
  • Lead Notifications.

4. Send SMS

4.1 Through Swipe Action

On the LeadSquared mobile app –

  1. Tap Leads.
  2. Once you can view the Leads page, swipe left on the relevant lead name card.
  3. Select Message.
  4. On the Messaging screen, you can either type your own message or choose from the available templates. To use an SMS template, tap Add icon.
  5. Alongside the relevant template, tap View. Then, tap Select.
  6. Tap Send icon.
  7. You will receive a notification about carrier charges that may be applied. Click Ok.

4.2 On Lead Details Page

  1. Tap Leads.
  2. Tap on a name card to view the Lead Details page.
  3. Tap Contact and select Send SMS.

 

Alternatively –

  1. On the bottom of the screen, tap more icon.
  2. Then, tap Send SMS.
  3. To use an SMS template, tap Select a template.
  4. Tap Send SMS.

5. Send SMS to Multiple Leads

To send SMS to multiple leads –

  1. Once you’re on the Manage Leads or Smart Views page, long press on a lead card to select it.
  2. Then, tap all the lead cards you wish to select.
  3. Tap Three dots.
  4. Select Send SMS.
  5. Type your message and tap Send icon.
  6. You will receive a notification about carrier charges that may be applied. Click Ok.

How to Use and Customize the Lead Details vCard?

1. Feature Overview

The Lead vCard displays key lead information on the Lead Details page, including Lead Details, Lead Quality Metrics, and Lead Properties. It provides a quick snapshot of important lead data to help users review and update records efficiently.

You can customize the Metrics and Lead Properties sections to control which fields appear on the vCard, allowing teams to focus on the most relevant information for their workflow. The vCard can also be shared with other LeadSquared users via email, making it easier to collaborate and exchange lead information.

 

2. Prerequisites

You need to be an Admin user to customize details on the vCard.

 

3. Access vCard

To view a Lead vCard:

  1. Navigate to Lead Management>Leads.
  2. Click on the required lead to open the Lead Details page.
  3. The vCard appears on the left of the Lead Details view.

4. Customise vCard

  1. Navigate to Settings>Leads>Lead Forms.
  2. Under Select to edit drop-down field select Lead vCard.
  3. To add lead fields in your v-card, drag-drop fields from the Hidden section to the Metric section or Lead Properties section.
  4. Once you’re done click Save.

Note:

  • The Metric section only accepts number type fields. A maximum of four fields are allowed at a time.
  • The Lead Properties section can accommodate any number of lead fields and accepts all values.
  • You can use filters to find all Numeric fields in the Hidden fields section.
  • To reset the customizations made to the vCard click Reset to default. This will reset the vCard to the default lead fields.

5. Edit and Share the Lead vCard

On the Lead Details page:

  1. Hover over the three-dotted menu.
  2. Click the Edit VCard option.
  3. Update the required lead fields and click Save.

  1. Hover over the vCard.
  2. Click the Share option.
  3. Enter the name or email address of the users in the pop-up.
  4. Optionally, add Notes.
  5. Click Send Email to send the lead information.

Note: When sharing a Lead vCard, only the fields that are configured in the “Edit vCard Fields” section and configured in the Lead Form will be included — and only if those fields contain values.

How to schedule a LeadSquared Report?

1. Overview

You can schedule the delivery of your LeadSquared report to your LeadSquared Email address. The scheduled report is delivered and is available only to the user who schedules it.

Note: The schedule feature for Reports is not available to all the LeadSquared Reports. If you want the schedule feature enabled for any of the Reports, please email to support@leadsquared.com

 

2. Prerequisite

  • You should be an Administrator, Sales Manager or Marketing User of the LeadSquared system in order to schedule a report.

 

3. Navigate to Reports

To schedule a Report, first, navigate to Reports>Reports Home.

4. Schedule a Report

As an example, let’s select the Activity list by Leads report under the Lead Insights category.

Apply the required filters and click Run Report. Next, click  to bookmark the report with the filter settings to save it to My Saved Reports.

You can schedule the report using either of the following two methods –

  • From the same report window, click  . The My Report Bookmarks window appears.

Or

  • Go to Reports>My Saved ReportsThe My Report Bookmarks window appears.

The Bookmark Actions area allows you to re-run the report with new filters, and edit and delete the bookmark. Click  to schedule the report. The Schedule pop-up box appears.

Select the schedule frequency, Start Time, Start Date, and End Date(if required) and click Create ScheduleThe Report is scheduled and the message appears as shown in the image below:

How to set an Administrator as the billing user?

The first Administrator is marked as the billing user in LeadSquared by default. You can have multiple Administrators as the billing users if you have an active subscription. To set another Administrator as the billing user –

  1. Navigate to Settings>Users and Permissions>Users.
  2. Along the row of the Administrator you want to set as the billing user, hover your cursor over   and select Set Billing User.
  3. On the Set Billing User pop-up, click Yes.

  • You can assign the Billing User role to Sales Cloud Admins as well.

To view all your billing users –

  1. Click … and in the popup that appears, search “Is Billing User”.
  2. Check the box alongside it and click Show Selected.
  3. All your billing users will be marked with a “Yes” under the “Is Billing User” column.

How to find deleted leads using Deleted Leads History Report?

This article explains how to find deleted leads from your LeadSquared system using the Deleted Leads History Report.

Note:

  • Once deleted, leads can’t be restored in LeadSquared. The Deleted Leads History Report only contains the data of the deleted leads.
  • Before you delete leads, we recommend you export the leads out of LeadSquared. This will ensure a backup of your leads is always available. To know more, refer to How to Export Your Leads/Lead Details?

 

Prerequisites

You must be an administrator user of your LeadSquared account.

 

Procedure

To access the Deleted Leads History Report –

  1. On the main menu, navigate to Reports>Reports Home.
  2. Search for “Deleted Leads List”, and click to open the report.
    1. Alternatively, navigate to Lead Insights>Deleted Leads List.
  3. Select the date range, then click Run Report.
  4. Click  LeadSquared Reports to export the report to CSV. You can import the report to create new leads in your account in case you deleted them by accident.
